When we met Fiona and Greg for their pre-wedding meeting we knew we'd be in for a fun wedding!
Although being from Sydney they have a strong connection to the Central Coast, loving the beaches and getting out on a boat with their friends. Fiona and Greg were married at Ocean Beach SLSC, overlooking one their favourite beaches. They opted for a low key wedding with direct family and friends. They also chose to do a bridal shoot before their vows, to allow more time with their guests right after their ceremony.
We arranged to meet at Half Tide Rocks in Ettalong, a place that meant something special to them both. With the sun shining and the wind howling along the water it made for another fun bridal shoot, although we should have brought a kite! We found some shelter in between the trees, using the beautiful light to capture their connection.
Their ceremony started off with Greg dancing his way down the isle to ACDC, followed by Fiona and her nieces as bridesmaids doing their choreography. Such a unique and fun entrance that was a surprise to everyone! As the sun set in the background their ceremony was short and sweet, followed by hilarious speeches by both groom (if you ever need an MC make sure to hit Greg up!) and friends giving impromptu speeches. The room looked stunning with their beach themed set up. A conga line filled up the dancefloor and bride and groom as well as their guests had a blast, and we did too for the short time we had with them.
Thanks for being such a fun couple!
