MICHELLE & DAYNE - SOMERSBY GARDENS
What better date to choose for your wedding than your anniversary as a couple! It's a great way to remember how your relationship started (and all those butterflies you had!) and cherish the road you've traveled as a couple so far. Your wedding day can definitely bring back all those feels and more, from nerves to excitement and pure happiness.
Michelle and Dayne put in a lot of effort to create the wedding of their dreams. And they weren't afraid of putting in some work! Especially Michelle had a clear vision for their big day and lots of ideas, from unique wedding bands to vintage furniture in their reception. They did the majority of the wedding set up themselves, too, which is a huge job. They spent the night before the wedding in the beautiful HOUSE on the property, and when we arrived in the late morning it was bustling! The girls were getting ready in one side of the house whereas the boys occupied the opposite end. Michelle had spent the night finishing up the personalized decals on their robes and glasses and getting everyone organized. Hair and Makeup were taking shape now and we started photographing in the background. Michelle and Dayne's kids both had gorgeous little outfits and special roles as flowergirl and ring security.
We can't stress enough how important it is to have a Plan B for your outdoor ceremony! It had rained heavily the week prior, and on the day it was still raining on and off. They made the call to move their ceremony closer to the reception area, so guests could find shelter if needed.
