First of all, we totally understand that weddings are expensive! We found that out when we planned our own wedding. But quality usually has its price, and you shouldn’t trust an amateur with your wedding photos. If you’re not set on quality and are just after the most affordable photography option, you may have to keep looking. Please consider this in your search: there’s no second chance for wedding photos. Make sure you pick the RIGHT photographer and don’t just let your budget make that choice for you. This is our business, not just a hobby on the side. We have running costs, equipment and back up cameras, insurances and advertising to pay. Plus a lot of work is done behind the scenes, that our couples don’t get to see. Shooting a wedding doesn’t mean the job is done when the day finishes! Clint spends many hours editing images and then compiling them, plus in most cases he also designs a beautiful wedding album. It is a very timeconsuming task and we like to get it right, so our couples fall in love with their photos and products. Our albums are top of the range, Australian made and come with a warranty, which means at a higher price. But we wouldn’t choose an inferior product just to sell more! Just as we said earlier: do not settle when it comes to your wedding, and you get what you pay for.

You like what we do and would like to get the ball rolling? Awesome! Unfortunately we cannot hold dates without a deposit payment, so yes, we do need you to pay a deposit. A paid deposit means that we won’t take any other bookings for that day – it’s all yours! This is also the reason why it is non-refundable. Our deposit is only $500, with the remainder to be paid two weeks before the wedding. We also sign a wedding agreement with our couples.

We sure do! They are a great way to get to know us and how we work, get comfy in front of our camera and have fun! Plus, you get some amazing photos to use in your invitations etc. Our Ultimate Package includes a free engagement shoot, and most other packages offer a discount on a session. Absolutely! We cannot recommend professional prints highly enough. They are a beautiful display for your home, a perfect gift idea and a constant reminder of your special day. We work with high quality labs, ensuring your wedding photos will not only look stunning, but also stand the test of time. Depending on your style, we currently offer Acrylics, Fine Art Prints and Albums. Most of our wedding packages have a product or print credit included, as we strongly believe our couples deserve a tangible product to remind them of their day. Beyond that, there is absolutely no obligation to purchase any add-ons. You can find examples of the print products here on our website, or we can send you our product guide – but we’d love to show them to you in person!

Every wedding is unique, so it is difficult to put a number on it, when it comes to how long you should book us for on your day. Most couples choose to have their whole day captured, from the getting ready preparations all the way to the first dance as a married couple. If this sounds like something you like, you are looking at 8-10 hours photography. How you like to use the time with us is up to you though – we have also shot weddings from ceremony all the way to bridal send-off in that timeframe. We often get asked if we do shorter weddings or are willing to simply capture a part of their day – absolutely! We try to offer a variety of packages and are happy to customize something, too. Once you have set your expectations, budget and have a vision for your wedding day things will start to fall into place and eliminate options that are out of your range or not suitable. Here’s what we currently offer, and you’re welcome to contact us, if you’d like to make them your own. In an obligation-free meeting with us we can go through the options together and help you find the right package.

How many images you will receive from your big day is really hard to say – we don’t keep taps on numbers when we shoot, and we don’t limit the amount of images you’ll receive. If there’s something worth photographing we will shoot! As a rule of thumb, most couples that book us for a whole day will end up with 1000+ images. This includes some images also in Black and White. In case you’re wondering if you can get the RAW files, the simple answer is no. We only share the edited images with our couples. A big part of our creative work happens during the editing process, hence we do not provide the unedited files. Our editing style is natural, true to colour and authentic, so our couples receive timeless images representing their day.

We definitely recommend booking your photographer as soon as you’ve set the date and booked a venue. Enquiries come in 6-12 months before the wedding day, with some couples reaching out two years in advance or more. Choosing the right vendors to make your day happen is huge – options are endless! Once you start your planning it doesn’t hurt doing some research, so you have narrowed it down to your favourite photographers once you’re ready to really enquire. Especially peak season – October to March – can book out very quickly. A small piece of advice: There’s no rule that your wedding has to be on a Saturday! Planning a Friday, Sunday or midweek wedding can open up a lot more options.

One of the biggest worries for couples is the thought of rain tainting their wedding day. We always recommend having a backup indoor location for the ceremony, if scheduled outside, as this takes a big chunk of that worry away. When it comes to photos, we will make the most of it, no matter what. If you’re not too worried about the elements, we don’t mind getting wet (and our equipment can manage a bit of rain as well). Rain can actually make for some magical shots – here are some examples from our weddings – and clear umbrellas work well and look good in photos. We are also happy to take advantage of any nice spots your venue has to offer inside or undercover, or we simply wait out the rain and take the photos outside whenever there’s a break in the clouds, as long as your timeline allows. The weather on your wedding day is one of the things you cannot control, so don’t sweat it! It’s going to be a wonderful day, no matter what Mother Nature may throw at you.

Getting both of us to document your wedding is a great bonus that is not reflected in our pricing, as we simply prefer to work this way– something that other photographers charge extra for! You will have both of us photographing during your ceremony, the most important part of your day. The rest of the day we mainly work as photographer and assistant, but we both keep shooting whenever possible. Working together enables us to tell your wedding story from two different angles and will result in more candid photos. The only exception are small weddings and elopement style bookings, which Clint usually shoots on his own. From the moment you enquire, we love to help with any questions, will guide you through the booking process and support you in your planning all the way to your big day. We pride ourselves in a professional, yet personable approach, and make sure you have a positive experience with us and end up with images you love, and have a good time whilst we snap away. Communication is a big part of the process, especially in the lead up to your wedding day. We need to understand our couples’ needs and expectations, or else we won’t be able to deliver. Apart from offering initial meetings to get to know each other and get a feel for what our clients are after, we have also created various questionnaires that help us gather as much information as we can, so we don’t miss anything on the big day.
